A New World This is big news and I've been sitting on it for a while. After getting some closure on this today with the good folks at Nettwerk, I felt it was time to make an announcement of sorts. Dave Holmes has left his home at Nettwerk after more than a decade...(he started sweeping floors in Vancouver...opened up the LA office for them years later... managed 40+, took on personal management for Coldplay...and recently Eisley). He's opening up a music division under a large holding company (Wasserman Media Group) that will introduce DC Music as a new leader in the business of management, nurturing new artists, merchandising, events, cross marketing, etc. Coldplay, Eisley (and now an older band called Rancid recently taken on) are the only bands in Dave's new world. In short, Dave, Darin Harmon and Dana White (all Nettwerk veterans and Eisley's personal team) are leaving as a unit. The resources are amazing and the specialized attention Eisley will have is going to be great... I can't tell you how hard it's been to leave Nettwerk. They're an amazing group of people. I can never say enough about them. We're walking into a smaller world with great opportunity - small fish in a small pond instead of small fish in very crowded pond - but, as I told Dan and Terry (Nettwerk head guys) , we'll be ambassadors for Nettwerk forever. Eisley's relationship with Dave and gang is almost like...i dunno; Dave is like an Uncle to the band. A great friend - like family to us DuPree's. He's slept on our van floor, slept on our couches at home... and in small, sweaty dressing rooms before/after shows...both in the US and in England. He and Darin are a great team... so funny together...all we do is laugh sometimes when we're all together. But they're the best. And Dana, their office manager is the sweetest...and also the best. We're very excited to be on the new team. How can you not make the move... I mean, Coldplay!. It's a small, tight family now, but the management is the same; Coldplay is great, but those guys will be the first to say that Dave, "handed them a career". He's said it from stage before. No joke. If you were at the Hollywood Bowl or get the cd of the live show, you'll hear Chris say, "this goes out to Dave and Jane"... (were getting married) It's no wonder they decided to follow. Anyway... it's a big step. Just letting you know. Not wanting it to be some big dramatic thing... Just informing you. Questions? yes.... you Walter? Jane... Please, please, one at a time... Luke... you. GO!! NO!! NO more questions. NO Questions for'd-YOU! _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Hey, sounds good to me. How can you pass up that much attention? Especially from someone like that. I hope this move works out as well as it looks. You have my support, whatever that counts for. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Special attention is AW-SUM. It's like being in homeschool as compared to the public school where there's like a million kids and one teacher. Although in my family it was a million kids and one mom...but at least it was at home. (ps. Like my "avatar" Boyd? ha ha ha ha!!! What a strange word..."AVATAR"! It sounds like magic or Hindu or like a video game system from the 70's.) _________________ "Love is all you need." -John Lennon "Love is all you've got." -My brother Bill My Xangaaaaa...(Ricardo Mantaban) http://www.xanga.com/Danelectro |

Sometimes I think I am prophetic and somethings I am just telepathetic. Speaking of new management for Eisley...isn't it aw-sum that Saddam Hussein got captured?
