This is boyd. I was completely confused over this article - so i edited it OUT. sorry. I don't know where it came from.. only that it showed up here. Quotes were taken out of context and weirdly shifted around on all of us... Maybe the writer just misunderstood. Anyway... thanks.

Me too. I imagined the x-files theme playing in the backround when she smiled.

Boyd again... Kim was logged in and alerted me to the quote. grrrrrrrr.....

First I laughed... then I became so angry. Something sounded familiar about the interview...long ago, but I can't place it...but those quotes were either turned around or added to...but most were completely made up; When writers/editors for any kind of magazine/press, etc. have their own agenda, it seems the pathway of least resistance to turn "artists" into silly putty... bending and stretching them - conforming them to back up the point they are interested in making. I want to give someone the benefit of the doubt and not be accusing, but... i feel so weird about that weird, weird article. uhhhggg..

Obviously Paul is not dead (McCartney that is) as he is still making music, yet everyone kept playing their records to try to find something about that back in the 60's. Sounds like this was about the same.

AH, did anyone read the disclaimer at the end of the article?

I wrote it. I made the WHOLE thing up...out of thin air. It was for fun. Nobody had an agenda, nobody was trying to smear the band. It was never published in any magazine. If you had questions about it, you could have asked me rather than delete the post. If anyone wants to read it, it's on my blog.

Sorry about the confusion, or if it offended someone.

it was well written, but not well thought out... i'd give you a C+

and btw, why on earth would you make an article insulting a band (well i took it as insulting...) and then post it ON THEIR WEBPAGE? that is so not right.

What a stupid thing to write! Making up stuff about people and actually quoting 'them' is morally offensive.
Please don't do this kind of thing any more.

For the record, I wasn't trying to insult anyone. I really like this band...I have showed up to support them in concert, bought Merch, and oushed their CD's on my friends. This is what's called parody. And what exactly is insulting here? Frankly, I thought the whole thing was patently ridiculous enough that nobody would take it seriously, and just chuckle. I mean c'mon. Hidden messages in Eisley music played backward? Rhyming Pentateuch with kook? Yeeeeesh.

Unless, there is a conspiracy...and the band doesn't want it to get out...Room Noises vinyl LP owners, contact me.

The above is a JOKE. A JOKE.

Putting something in quotes as what someone said does not sound like a parody. And I again see no indication of this being a parody in the blog. It appears Boyd, Kim or someone took offense to this and I think you need to put a very clear disclaimer in your parody, at the very least.
