Who wrote what lyrics? I know Sherri & Stacy are the songwriters, but is there any info on who wrote which exact ones? according to the old moss eisley site... "Blackended Crown" was written by Chauntelle, Stacy and Sherri "Dream for me" by Chauntelle, Stacy and Sherri "Pretender" by Chauntelle, Stacy and Sherri "Sleepy head" by Sherri and Stacy "Becoming you" by Sherri "Head Against The Sky" by Sherri "Telescope eyes" by Sherri "Over the mountains" by Sherri "Mr. Pine" by Stacy and Sherri "Laughing City" by Stacy and Sherri but as far as the songs on Room Noises, i am not sure. _________________ I'll be your little shark. - - - bandspace |

weird, i was just thinking about this yesterday! All of the info pam posted is correct as it was taken from the old moss eisley website--which was created by Boyd. "Over the Mountains" is indeed written by Sherri, although Stacy sings lead- but she seems to sing lead on quite a few Sherri penned songs. Here are a few songs in which the writer has been mentioned, either by Sherri, Stacy or Boyd- Laughing City ep-- I wasn't prepared----Sherri Telescope eyes---Sherri Tree Tops----Sherri Over the mountains---Sherri Laughing City----Stacy/Sherri Marvelous Things ep-- Marvelous Things--Sherri Memories---Sherri Sea King-----????? The Winter song---???? Room Noises--- Memories--Sherri Telescope eyes--Sherri I wasn't prepared---Sherri Golly Sandra----Stacy Marvelous Things---Sherri Brightly Wound----?? oops, sorry about stirring up any interest in the song 'wings & windows'. i have never heard it either.  i know they've played it live. but ummm sherri posted on here that she wrote that song, so i thought i'd add it to the list of songs since that's what was being discussed. but yeah, my bad.
anybody know who the other blank songs were written by? just out of curiosity. |

I'm guessing "Queen of Leaves" would be Stacy, too. Possibly... I'd like for more Stacy songs to be released. By the way, Andrew, your avatar is seriously bringing back a lot of memories. |
