I know it's redundant by now, but...we'll be in the UK in August at something called V Festival 2003. Will from Coldplay said it's a really big deal, so...we're pretty excited. (CP will be on the main stage) Our booking agent books The Polyphonic Spree and other bands that tour the UK. I hear that they'll be playing some of the clubs in London while they're there. So, hopefully those cool Brit's will enjoy a bit of magic from this "weenie band", as Sherri so aptly refers to MossEisley.

The 'V' festivals are indeed very big. The other headliners this year are Red Hot Chili Peppers who, along with Coldplay, are the biggest selling rock band over here at the moment so it's obviously a great chance for bands to get exposure by playing on such a bill. Should be a great festival this year!

Zwan -

cool. so, where are these gigs in relationship to...say, London? Is it on a bunch of acreage - outdoors like Woodstock? I think Moss is playing in a big tent - not sure if those hold 2 or more people. (puptent?) jk.

Anyway, that would rock if you could come.

Well, as you may know the festival is over two days (16th & 17th of August) with the line-ups rotating each day. The two venues are Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire. Chelmsford is well within an hour of London and - I'm not sure of this - but I think the other venue would be within 90 minutes.

As for the set up of the event, most of it is outdoors, but there are some tents too, including a solely acoustic one. I'm definitely hoping to make it along, should be excellent this year.
