Posted: Sun Mar 19, 2006 7:30 am Ahh, it was Amazing! I didn't think it was possible for Eisley to wow me even more with their talent and prettyness, but they sure did. It was one of the best night's of my life, I had such a super duper time. Everyone was so chill! I even met some boardies.... Sup Golly Andrew I kept bothering him all night that I'd give him a huge shout out, so this is it! I'm upset you didn't say goodbye when you left! I also met Matt (Zeek!) and he's one of the coolest fellows ever. He helped me with my camera, and got me to the B train haha! We also talked to Boyd and Chauntelle and I got a picture with her! She's just about the most rad girl ever. Brighten was awesome! I have their EP but I feel a lot of up and coming bands sound bad live, and they were awesome (and cute!) Simon Dawes were amazing, I can't believe they're not headlining themselves, just give it a few years before they and Eisley are taking over the world! To top off a great night, my friend Amy stole the Amazing set list for me and I caught Sherri's guitar pic, pretty spiffy! I know! The Set List was as follows: Mr Pine Marvelous Things Escaping Song My Lovely Telescope Eyes Golly Sandra I Wasn't Prepared I Could Be There For You* Memories They All Surrounded Me Invasion* Over the Mountains I Feel Good* (but Sherri announced as We feel good, so I'm not sure what's the actual title, I'm pretty sure Stacy was singing We Feel Good) Head Against the Sky Many Funerals* Encore: Like the Actors* Just Like We Do Tree Tops *New Songs were Amazing! I really can't put it into words just how great they were. They're so powerful and Bam! I loved them instantly. Such a tease because my excitement has only built for the new album. I asked Boyd about it, and as much as I want a new album, I really hope they get the chance to tour the UK with Taking Back Sunday, what an experience that'd be. Pictures! I was right upfront, dancing and singin' along, so I couldn't take the best pictures. I had golly andrew (the tall fellow he is) help me out with some! Before the show I was running errands for my job and I passed by this store.. I knew it had to be some sign! haha I must be the Only dork who doesn't look at the camera when posing with the raddest chick ever. _________________ Kyle ~ like a boy.. only I'm a girl (g i r l) www.myspace.com/smiliekylie (p r o o f) |

I wanna go sooooooooooo bad but I STILL have a messed up knee. I tore ligament in it and I'm limping really bad. So I doubt I can go, my doctor said I shouldn't. _________________ Don't you let them tell you you're an ugly child. They are blind to the beauty that lies within |

HI GOLLY ANDREW .... Hey, I didn't know I was leaving either, sorry. BYE! P.S. I made a bootleg. O snap. send it my way The pictures you took of Stacy for me came out excellent. Once I upload them (my Mom shut down and I don't know her pw!) I'll send them your way. Yeah, I kinda left randomly too. After harassing the merch boys and Brighten long enough haha! I hope you had fun, cause I sure did! We'll do it again soon _________________ Kyle ~ like a boy.. only I'm a girl (g i r l) www.myspace.com/smiliekylie (p r o o f) |

Sounds like you New Yorkians (?) had a blast! I bet the set was amazing and tail-kickin' awesome! Thanks for telling us about it. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. I wish i couldve met any of them, but i saw boyd on stage and it was enough to be literally five feet away from the band, chauntelle's guitar even began to make my stomach upset because i was so close, Now those are what i call some GOOD vibrations! I will never forget this night for the rest of my life, and i wont rest until i see them again welcoming them into my heart like an old friend. _________________ Youll never ever realize just how beautifal life is. |
