technically that's illegal, isn't it? It's not their artwork, and they didn't site the original folk as the artists... so surely it's stealing! Email them and say so. i didnt think anyone would care i mean its not like ive put the iron on print shirts i made up there yet come on give me a break .i got a huge hillary duff memorabilia collection that i need to make money to support.30 more bucks and i can get the shirt that she wore on the lizzie maguire movie in scene 3 act 4 |

All of it is copyrighted. WB owns that stuff, and so does Eisley. However, It's not like they're making a killing at it! It's just the idea that gets under my skin a bit. I would, (and could), have WB go after them, but it's not worth it. I just could never steal someone's stuff and try to profit from it. They could be totally innocent, and really like the band and want to promote them. Like I said, they're not making a killing. Tim....I should have suspected you!

The t-shirt artwork is Copywritten. The Name is Copywritten. The album cover is copywritten. The brand is trademarked. So im staring at 8 counts of copyright infringement and 6 counts of trademark infringement. A cease and desist is the best and "nicest" way to tell them to stop. It may be a little harsh but infringement is infringement. Gotta love Intellectual Property. And the seller has 81 other similar products for other musicians and bands. Probably not all legal. |
