The opening bands were definitely good (I was especially impressed by the Vanished — I wasn't expecting much from them), but Eisley gets more magical every time I see them. You'd think it would be the opposite, but it means more every time. I hope there are many more times. Very Happy

the vanished just didn't impress me very much. that could be though because i wanted them to get off and let eisley on. and then the incredible performance by radiant is probably casting a shadow over the vanished as well. anyways...

don't know if anybody saw the most recent austin chronicle but it was like the end of the year thing and eisley was mentioned a few times:

Waterloo Records had a page just saying all the bands that did instores and eisley obviously was on there
In the "Texas Top 10s" Greg Beets ranked Laughing City as his #9 pick
In the "TCB" section Christopher Gray mentioned Eisley in the Out of Towners section where it listed the best non-Austin texas bands, and also he picked the Laughing City and Marvelous Things EPs in his Texas Top 10 as well
