The opening bands were definitely good (I was especially impressed by the Vanished — I wasn't expecting much from them), but Eisley gets more magical every time I see them. You'd think it would be the opposite, but it means more every time. I hope there are many more times. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

the vanished just didn't impress me very much. that could be though because i wanted them to get off and let eisley on. and then the incredible performance by radiant is probably casting a shadow over the vanished as well. anyways... _________________ i am the luckiest |

don't know if anybody saw the most recent austin chronicle but it was like the end of the year thing and eisley was mentioned a few times: Waterloo Records had a page just saying all the bands that did instores and eisley obviously was on there In the "Texas Top 10s" Greg Beets ranked Laughing City as his #9 pick In the "TCB" section Christopher Gray mentioned Eisley in the Out of Towners section where it listed the best non-Austin texas bands, and also he picked the Laughing City and Marvelous Things EPs in his Texas Top 10 as well _________________ "Without music, life would be a mistake." -Friedrich Nietzsche |
