I would ask them,

What kind of music are you into?
How is it possible for you to be so talented and make such beautiful music?
Stacy, do you want to go out on a date? Wink
What are the latest cereals and teas that I should try?
How is the new album coming along?

If you want to know what music they're 'into'... it's the question they almost always get asked in interviews so you can read those.
Unless you wanted to ask them that to start up a conversation, then I understand Wink

If we were stuck on a desert island or something, I'd ask Chauntelle how to play The Escaping Song, Golly Sandra, Taking Control, Becoming You, and probably a lot of other songs. If I was just meeting them I wouldn't have time, so I guess I'd ask them to explain the lyrics of a song. Maybe Blackened Crown, but I don't know.

of people in bands that i've met it's usually "Good show"/"Good luck with the show", asking about new material and what they think of the city/venue wherever, keep it simple, cos i dunno about the band, but i'd find it pretty strange if people were talking to me about sorta personal stuff. Anyway, meeting bands is good, as are asking them for photos with them when they can't understand you

haha.. "hi, great job"

great line!

Yeh I sometimes find asking the bands about the show to be the "staple" question.. I wish their was an easier way of talking to them!

I would ask them if they plan to journal more when they go into the studio. I'm thinking the studio experience might change more from day to day than the tour grind and therefore provide more overall entertainment value to their faithful fans and the new ones like myself. Thats not a knock on their tour stuff - I really love all of it especially Boyd and Sherri's contributions. I'm wondering how much Boyd's posts will change sans sleep deprivation and road stress. Maybe some long time LC'ers already know what they did the last time they went into studio mode and can post about it.

I would really like to get an idea of how the studio process works from laying down the initial scratch(?) tracks to the selection process for the final list of songs selected for the new album ... and of course everything inbetween.
