but, he uses photoshop on a lot of the photos.

i have the same camera (nikon d50 like said above) and it is really good but its not going to make pictures look amazing on it's own so dont buy it expecting it to be magical

So true. A good camera sure helps, but it's not going to make you a good photographer.

get a d200 they are amazing. Flat out amazing, but yeah you have to photoshop to get pictures to look like boyds. I actually have boyds camera is you want it. Here, you can have it.

it's awesome. but the lense it comes with isn't so great. but if you're not serious about photography then i guess it's ok.

i have a canon 350d.
and have 4 old digital cameras.
so the canon is amazing compared. but it's the first and only 'professional' i have so i cant say if it's better than any others.

suits me though!

You can take great pictures with any camera, really. Having an "eye" for composition is the real factor.
