I think it was mentioned in the post about their wreck going to Dallas that Stacy played guitar in the van or something. I've wondered why they don't switch around more myself.

There have been a number of more recent pictures of her playing, too, in a couple of Boyd's posts (I believe the pre-production one). In her 'bio' on the main site, she claims that she's a much better guitar player than keyboard player...

she's a great little shrimpy guitar player. Not like some Van Stacy Halen
or anything... but she can pluck out stuff like "Blackbird" and she knows
tons of Radiohead songs and writes a bunch of her songs on the guit
fiddle. A new one, in fact makes me swoon and blow eye chunks; she
does a finger picking deal; It's called "Dear did you know". She's
finishing it before LA. of course. Probably could be on the record.
