There is a short blurb on Eisley in the recent Rock Sound - a UK magazine. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere yet so here it is.

EISLEY
From: Texas
Line-up: Stacy DuPree (vocals, keyboards), Chauntelle DuPree (guitar), Sherri DuPree (guitar, vocals), Weston DuPree (drums), Jonathon Wilson (bass)
Resume: Sounding like Cocteau Twins jamming with Belly, this is for anyone who recalls the searing vocal tones of The Sundays and is longing for a bit of perfectly-crafted jangly indie-pop. There's nothing like keeping things in the family - aside from the fact that they're mostly a brother-and-sisters concern, mom and dad used to run a rock venue where they made their debut. Inking a US deal with Warners, a full-length is on the cards for spring/summer 04. Expect big things.
Recommended listening: "Marvelous Things" (EP, Reprise. Out Dec 29)

It's nothing new to us, but worth typing up since I hadn't yet seen a magazine over here give them a mention.

i love that "perfectly-crafted jangly indie-pop" line, that's the best description i've heard a reviewer use for eisley.

I think I saw it before, too, but thanks for sharing it, all the same! I agree about that line, Ali. I like it... Very Happy
