There are tons of Eisley videos on youtube already. I don't know why it would be a problem. If it was every live video by a band would be a problem.

I know. It just says to be sure you have permission....I know people post them without permission but I figured I might as well check so I don't bother putting it up if it's just gonna be taken down... Sad

Actually, you do have a very valid question. Just because there are "tons" of Eisley videos on YouTube, doesn't make it legal.

Boyd's video's probably wouldn't be too much of a problem, but their official music videos may be another matter.

A lot of different companies and people have issues (read: lawsuits) with all the copyright materials on YouTube (which they will remove on request by the owner). You'd have to check with Boyd at least.

However, considering that Eisley is not that big yet, the more publicity they get, the better.

Boyd has asked that the Malibu clips not be posted, due to copyright issues. If you filmed at a concert, it probably won't be a big deal. Though it may not actually be legal, per se.

Yeah, I'm talking about videos I recorded at shows. I have a nice version of Head Against the Sky and I don't know whether or not to share it on youtube....

Seeing how all the venues say not to take any video of any kind...yet we all do anyways...I'm sure it's not "right". But I don't know if that's because of the venue or the band. I'm sure it's okay. Many of us have posted our video links on here and they haven't said anything...yet...
