Today I wore my Eisley Moon Man shirt, and when I got to my French class (it's at a different high school than the one all the rest of my classes are at) my friend was like "Eisley! I love Eisley!" which was cool enough, but then she proceeded to tell me that they always stay at a guy in her ward's house, and he is her Sunday School teacher. I'm pretty sure this is the Thomas who posts on this board and who Boyd always mentions. If i'm wrong, correct me. but... I knew that Eisley has and does stay in my city (Bountiful) but I just thought it was cool that you can be connected to people (including Laughing City Peoples) and not even know it, even if it's an obscure way! (a ward is a regional church congregation/grouping, if you were wondering) _________________

My old math teacher is the nephew of an old man from Seattle. Funny story... It turns out the old man used to live down in California near the San Diego. As an avid surfer, he would always surf on the beach where Ann Carlson would life-guard. Ann's brother in law is a car salesman from Austin, TX. Once, he sold a car to Bob Schmitz. And, Bob Schmitz lives in Tyler, TX, which is where Eisley is FROM!!! I'm pretty sure my connections are way better than all of yours. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

I'm pretty sure my connections are way better than all of yours. Oh yeah! My grandfather was headed a hospital in Bay Village where Richard Gibbs was born. And he is producing the new Eisley record. I win! _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. Oh yeah? Beat this. I got to school with two girls who are distantly related to Olivia Bonham Carter (but close enough to have the same last name). Which, in itself, is cool enough, but it goes on... Olivia Bonham Carter is married toTim BURTON!! (even cooler...but WAIT...) Who made about a gazillion movies with Johnny Depp! woohoo... _________________ you said you liked it when the thunderstorms came said you'd like it if the thunderstorm just pulled you piece by piece away [F I O N A] |

I think you mean Helena Bonham Carter. You got her name wrong, so yours doesn't count. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

But in all seriousness, my uncle peed next to Bill Gates. He was at a Basketball game in Seattle (Bill Gates owns the team, I can't think of the name.) And, while in the bathroom, Bill Gates came in and did his thing in the urinal next to my uncle's. He said he was so speechless that he didn't say anything (and why wouldn't Bill have his own bathroom anyway?) _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

Yeah well I'm best friends with a girl named Leslie Arnett whose brother is friends with Boyd. And also I met The Elms (a christian rock band) after a show one night back in like 2000 and when we met, there were these skinny hipsters sitting on a bench behind the band and the lead singer was all, "Hey, I'd like you to meet my friends--their band is called Moss Eisley" And I was all, "like the space port in Tatooine from Star Wars?" But before I could finish Sherri popped up out of nowhere and was like, "Hi! I'm Sherri" and we shook hands and I asked if I could buy their music and she said no, but told me they had a website and asked if I would like to write it down and I was like, "sure!" but I couldn't find paper or a pen in my purse, but she had a pen and I told her to write it on my hand and she did and then I met the other guys and when I got home I logged on and listened to blackened crown, over the mountains, and mr. pine and that's about the time I passed out with drunkenness from my new-found Moss Eisley buzz. So beat that. |

And also can I just say I really miss the old site. I loved how the music section was like a journal and on one side was the song and on the other was an explanation of the song by one of the girls. I really miss that---ya know sometimes you need an explanation for eisley words--maybe not for a whole song, but at least a line or two sometimes. And also I liked the layout--though the layout now is very cool--just saying I miss the old one. |
