that is what boyd told me to make this topic as, so anyways... i'm just curious, as to what/where is the cheapest place to stay in Dallas/Plano? because i live in Kansas, and i might fly down to Texas to see Eisley play at the Buzz-Oven Christmas Concert, and i can get my ticket for $49 if i purchase it before November 16th, or December 1st, i can't remember which one it is, anyway. and also how much is taxi fare? or does Dallas have taxi's? cause here we really don't have that many whatsoever, but in Texas, i wouldn't know, since i've never been there. and Boyd said that if i go, that perhaps a fan on the forum could pick me up on the way, this was all Boyd's suggestion, but i would need to know about any of this before i could purchase the ticket, so if anyone could get back to me, that would be amazing, that's all, thanks... _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. well, i live in waco and went to dallas for an eisley concert so maybe i can help you out. i've seen a few taxis in dallas, but there's not swarms of them like in new york city or chicago. staying at a holiday inn would probably be one of your best bets. _________________ yep. |

Totally different from the way I do it: buy the ticket then see how to get there (but the shows are usually in Glasgow, so it's no hassle). _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? dallas does indeed have taxis. i've used them several times. when you call them, they can tell you how much your fare will be. dfw airport is about 45 minutes from plano. love field (the smaller airport) is about 30 minutes from plano. not sure where the cheapest place to stay is. i can't imagine there is a big price difference between dallas and plano. but if you stay in the dallas area, there are more things to do. plano = suburbs. |

can anyone pick him up down town if he could catch a shuttle there from dfw? or... maybe someone lives out by dfw? or...could someone lend him a cow? _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
