the song "they all surrouned me", could it possibly be written after the book Eragon? i was reading and it had the word Chain-mail armor, and in the book Eragon and the dragon are able to communicate through thoughts, and in the song " i gathered my thoughts and set out on the trail". _________________ F L I C K R . ////\\\\ |

eragon is (going to be) a good book i think... i havent' read it yet but i got it for christmas. my friends say it's an awesome book. I just looked inside the book for a year... and it says Copyright 2002... Here's what WikiPedia says: Quote: In 2002, Eragon was published privately by his parents through Paolini International, LLC. ...The second edition of Eragon was published in August 2003. Anyways... i think that's cool that you noticed that about the lyrics... i try to interpret them too... but mostly with just Narnia and Lord Of The Rings. There are a lot of things that I hear in Eisley's music that reminds me of Narnia. Sea King reminds me a lot of near the end of ...Dawn Treader just to name one of them. _________________ - Anthony |

Eisley are influenced by a lot of books, but there are other books about dragons. I doubt it was about Eragon, though it's within the realm of possibility. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I gathered my thoughts and sat out on a trail into the woods, wearing sword and chainmail I started to whistle and walk to the beat that my heart played constantly on repeat The nightfall was chilly, I slumbered right where I fell dreaming up adventures cause' I had none to tell Upon the morning, I woke with a start for the beasts had blackened the horizon They all surrounded me, they all surrounded me, that's when the giant dragon jumped over the hill and he said He said, "no, no, no, no, no, no way sir, no, no, no, no, no, not today sir, you won't surround me, you can't surround us." (repeat whole song, then) Oh..... They all surrounded me... They all surrounded me... They all surrounded me... They all surrounded us... That's when the giant dragon jumped over the hill and he said He said, "no, no, no, no, no, no way sir, no, no, no, no, no, not today sir, you won't surround me, you can't surround us." -------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm pretty sure this could be about almost any fantasy book (dealing with dragons) ever written. |

I always wondered why it was "sat out" instead of "set out"... usually people set out on a trail. I know that's not important, but it's always kind of bugged me. _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice.
