Imagine a world where Paul wasn't on a boat sinking and LP2 did in fact leak to the general internet community.

I'm counting down the days till someone leaks the album. (I'm going to buy the record as well.)

sampling it is legal..for 24 hours. i think it's important to buy it, if it's worth it, which no doubt LP2 will be, but if it leaks, yeah, i'll probably download it, and listen to it until the record comes out. it's not like eisley picks the release date, so no one should have a problem...

i said no, and i won't because i don't want to hear it before it comes out. last time that happened my friend listened to underoath's leaked (like the rest of the world) and i never did. sure by then it was "old news" but i don't really care, they came around touring, i was into them--he wasnt. honestly it's not even out of respect for eisley as much as i just don't (but i do) want to listen to it yet. the anxiety is some of the best part of a new album.

I hope it doesn't happen, but if it did I'm kinda with madcat. I wouldn't want to partially out of respect, but mostly for the selfish reason of not ruining it for myself. Like eating a BIG piece of cake. I'd feel happy at first, but then totally cheated and regretful. Or maybe a better comparison would be like knowing the end of a movie you've been waiting for in months before watching it in full. OR the season finale cliffhanger of a show midseason.

Ah, you get my point. Now what I would REALLY do, hope we don't have to find out! I'm sure they will leak some samples for promotion anyway.

i probably wouldn't listen, but probably not cuz of respect or because it's illegal or whatever. i just wouldn't listen cuz i'd rather wait til i can buy it to listen to it. i don't know why. sometimes i'm weird like that.

I honestly wouldn't. I'd feel too guilty. There seems to be a pretty close relationship between Eisley and the fans. That would make me feel incredibly guilty. That and... If I was to download the leak, I would probably forget to buy an actual copy. So I don't tempt myself.

I don't feel guilt for downloading stuff, spreading music, you know, especially if I'm going to buy it anyhow.

I'm the exact say way. So you're not the only one that's weird like that.

I don't think I've ever done an illegal download. Too afraid the download police will come knocking on my door. Maybe that is a generational thing, though. I didn't have a MP3 player until about 2 years ago.

That's how I feel about it. Every time I would listen to it, I wouldn't get as much joy out of it because I would just imagine how disappointed the DuPrees would be. So, seeing as I don't like letting people down, I wouldn't DL it. But I probably would be tempted to do it a good number of times, especially when other fans are saying it's brilliant and stuff, but I wouldn't.

It's a good thing this will never happen though, since the band has got it locked up in a vault. I know it's a hypothetical deal.

I don't like downloading stuff that I'm looking forward to seeing/listening to before it comes out officially. It feels so terribly anticlimactic.
