yeah, it's kinda weird. i listened to the Donnie Darko commentary and Richard Kelly was the screenplay writer and director. because he came up with a story / vision, a movie prod. co. gave him 5 million dollars to make it (which is rather low). in the end, he really didn't make any money........it just seems really weird that someone comes up with an idea.......then someone would give them 5 million dollars to realize it.........and then they don't get squat...........*hopefully he had a piece of the DVD revenue......and supposedly a director's cut will be released to theaters this year*

i'm so glad i'm not the only who watched it w/ commentary....

i'm not totally convinced the story makes sense even with Kelly's revelations........still a cool thing though..........i'm interested in his next project.......here is a summary:
Plot Outline: A construction crew finds a time capsule from an old elementary school containing pictures that portray the greatest tragedies of the past forty years, and also one event that has yet to come true.

Don't forget about Dave Holmes....of the little money Eisley DOES get, i'd imagine he keeps at least 15 or 20% of it right off the top....probably from the merch, too....hopefully your manager does enough for you to earn his keep! Smile
