We didn't know the Grammy's were on... a few distractions i guess. But John Mayer is on the cover of Rolling Stone this month... what do yah know... and so was Derek Trucks of The Allman Brothers Band and John Frusciante of the Chili Peppers for guitarmanship. I can't disagree really. Derek is especially cool though, since his uncle is the one and only Butch Trucks, a lifetime member and drummer in the Allman Brothers Band. Derek has been able to successfully filled the shoes of Duane Allman, who died in Georgia in 1971. Those were some hard shoes to fill. Slide guitar is his forte'. Interesting fact, friend and band member, Berry Oakley died by motorcycle near the same spot that Duane was killed... same road... one year later. They're buried side by side. Moral to the story: Don't ride motorcycles. But if you do, make sure your future nephew can fill your shoes. John Mayer? Jessica Simpson? (sigh...) _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
