my post on this page say's what's real...in a practical way. It's never comfortable when bands emerge from the subteranian underground... but that's what being "signed" does. It unearths, exposes...builds...not always in the way others want; it's imperfect. There are constraints; budgets, consessions... like everything in life. Anyway....blah, blah,...good posts. This is an interesting thread. Read my post above. later. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I did never say anything about this video, so I will now. It looks good (chrisp, clean images). and it goes well with the song. The song, of course, is really good. Therefore, I think the video will serve it's purpose. _________________ http://xanga.com/adamaustin66 |

we had a conversation about how we would have directed it, over here, i said some stuff. this whole conversation could've been avoided if eisley had just taken my advice and gone animated in seriousness, though, i suppose you do need a 'meet the band' video, and this one, with its color-saturated, bright-yet-dark, creepy, 'virgin suicide' vibe was a great way to meet eisley. it will make an impact (already is, apparently). so now that introductions and getting noticed is over with, the band can start making quirky, animated videos, à la muse's 156. _________________ hello. |

Interesting - I FINALLY had the chance to watch the vid - I had had problems before, but I upgraded Windows Media player and now the asx's work for me. Some things I would've changed about the direction, some to keep the same. But overall an interesting video, and good first shot. Now if only I could see this really big on my TV. Maybe the DVD will follow the album, hehe. rock on. cameron _________________ Cameron aka truckpoetry.... The music from Eisley is awesome, and it has nothing to do with their looks. they are an inspirational band. the only reason i made a comment of it is because they are freakin beautiful, and they deserve to know it. |

i just tried Quicktime and got better results.......i'm wondering what's different though?.....when i download movie trailers, Quicktime usually downloads the entire video, then i'm able to watch it in continuous stream _________________ I am Torgo. Music.msn.com has Eisley listed in a flash promotion on their home page. It's how I found my way here. It's the second "advertisement" for new artist work, and the video is up in their profile. http://entertainment.msn.com/artist/?artist=253025 |

Absolutely love the video. We play them at the radio station I work for (Cedarville University) We need them here on our campus!!! It'd be awesome to wake up at my house and then, like, they're in my backyard playing. Woah. _________________ Homestar (Kevin DuBrow): Sup? Marzipan: Homestar that is not cool. Homestar: Yes it is! Hey all, I heard Eisley's video is going to be on TVU Music Television pretty soon. From what I could tell, it probably will be on next week's Battle of the Buzz. So next week watch TVU at www.tvulive.com on Thursday at 4pm Eastern and vote for Eisley! So... go it? 4pm Eastern on Thursday, January 29! Their sister station, RadioU, has been playing "Telescope Eyes" and I'm glad that TVU is picking up their video. Although, Eisley's not the usual rock fare you find on TVU, so if it's gonna get on, it has to win the Battle of the Buzz. So don't miss it next week! I'll keep you updated if I find anything new. Dan "da Man" P.S. - My computer has the place where I'm typing this text white on light brown (or whatever). It's really hard to read. Sometimes I can be so stupid. No, it's next week, the 29th. I changed it in my post above. Dan "da Man" _________________ Dan "da Man" Webmaster http://da-Man.com/ http://cMusicWeb.com/ |
