i read the post about the south by south west thing and listened to the interview and i really loved the two songs eisley plays, golly sandra(all striped down and amazing) and a nuetral milk hotel song in the aeroplane over the sea (so pretty like the original but its eisley). is there a way i can get those on my computer to burn them on a cd so i can listen to it when i am not on a computer.

im not sure what you listened to.

He or she was talking about the BBC Radio interview, which was not originally presented as an MP3 but rather as streaming audio which several kind people ripped to MP3 and presented for download here.

Go to the thread I posted and choose one of the links to the MP3 version. Download it to your computer and open it in iTunes. Add it to a playlist and burn that playlist to a disk and you're good to go. Smile

Oh my gosh. No, no, no! Usually one of those pages makes you wait a min for the download or type in some code and then make you wait to download . Then it might say "click to download" or something like that. Click that button. Then it should ask where you want to save it then save it to your desktop or where ever. That song will never play as an HTML becuase it's an MP3. It will save it to the correct format for you.

Or just right click on Luke's link (the one that starts with http://mucus...) and click "Save Target As..."

Has anyone spliced this file down to where we can just have the song? I don't want to listen to an entire radio interview in my car. Just "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea"

Yeah, Chubbygumby's post has them split up into three.
