I like the number zero. When you write it, it makes a lovely little circle on the page. It's fun to try and get it a perfect circle.
Unlike those nasty numbers 1 through 9, you have a choice of how to say it: "zero", "O", "naught". Me, I flick between "O" and "zero" in any one converation. "zero" is fun to say. Plus, it rhymes with Nero, of which the definitions are (i believe) various but includes "Cafe Nero", which does superb coffees.

Discuss the relative merits of the numbers zero through nine here!

(The poll doesn't let you type "0", so I had to write "zero". How eejitish is that!)

(this isn't entirely serious... just for the sheer heck of it... and is inspired by a comedy program that was on aeson ago, which had "celebrities" - lookalike/sound alikies (can't remember the term) discussing what exactly it was they loved about the letter A, or the triangle)

Lucky 7! But only because this poll didn't go to 11.

Oy.

Hey, Yoko! You only get one vote. Laughing

I voted for 8, though I would have picked 21 if that were an option.

I do that too, but 2, 3, and 9 are female while 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are male. I think 0 is female.

With letters, A, E, F, H, I, L, Q, T, X, and Z are male while B, C, D, G, J, K, M, N, O, P, R, S, U, V, W, and Y are female. I equate that kind of thing with a subdued variety of synaesthesia. It also adds a whole new level of complexity to Scrabble, if you're trying to create words that are entirely male or entirely female in composition. Confused
