yeah i think sherri did write it, and i don't mind saying i loved it from the moment i first heard it in houston. i may have swooned. or the manly version of swooning, whatever that is. oh my, it was good. so good that i begged boyd to bring it to us in any recognizable pattern.

your avatar is the best, sherri. i wish i had an avatar of a cartoon bear and a cartoon shark fighting. man, that'd be awesome!

i have not heard it live.......so how does it differ with the full band?
instruments/arrangements? be as descriptive as you like

it's really about the same, except maybe some stacy harmonizing in there somewhere..

i thought he took it from a demo they made at home on their little organ......it has a metronome beat......there's no bass or drums.....i think you can hear the door shut sound from IM on there too

Yeah, I thought that, too. From what I've read, they haven't taken the Wurlitzer to shows with them for quite some time, and it was just recorded with a little tape recorder, so I figured it was just a bedroom job. I think that Boyd said something earlier about going through tapes from shows, but he must've decided on the home recording.

photon was the other one, i guess. the poor man's laser tag. Wink

but do you remember captain power? now there was coolness. you'd put the video tape in, and shoot the tv screen with your gun-that-looked-like-a-ship, and the dudes you shot at shot back from the tv and if they hit your ship with their (possibly seizure-inducing) rays, your little pilot would fly out of the ship.

sweet, i'm not imagining it! http://www.captainpower.com/

Ive never played paint ball but I wouldnt rule it out, it sounds fun but nothing is as fun as laser tag just so you know. The thrill of laser tag is so awesome especially when its real hard to see because the room isnt luminated enough so you pretty much have to rely on sound and hope they dont hear you before you hear them
