i am talking about the one you can download off of itunes anyone notice that sherri sings this song differently than she sings every other song? to me it seems like she is singing through her nose more in this song.especially the verses and the "all night while i sang my songs..." it doesnt sound bad at all. its just different than how she sings every other song. what do you all think? _________________ Wil's excellent description of me. wilsmith wrote: You're the Anti-Censorship+Topless Twitpic Parodying+Youth Group Video Directing guy that's a champion for the 1st amendment, Videogames as Art, and unrepentant file sharing... Stacy might have the flashier pipes, but Sherri still has one heck of a voice. That's what I think. ha. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I don't think flashy is the right word. Mariah Carey has flashy pipes. Stacy has direct, unclogged pipes. She has great intonation and has great control over her head and chest voice. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

i know what you mean by "through her nose" but I think she does that on many other songs other than VP (wings & windows, sea king, winter song, i wasn't prepared, etc) the songs where she's singing really high, but stays in her chest voice most of the time. i love the way it sounds. she's got such a pretty tone. |

"Vintage People" is one of those quirky sounding songs that I think shows some of Eisley's uniqueness. I like it, and her vocals. Speaking of Sherri's vocals, a while ago someone posted an mp3 of Eisley's SXSW MusicPlus performance of "Go Away"....Sherri's vocals are sooo pretty in that echo bridge part. That's one thing I noticed first listen and really drew me into that song. For a live outdoor performance they both sounded good, but her echo part was so pretty. Just thought I would throw that in there. |

Maybe Optimus Prime. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
