oh yeah, I saw that too. I'm happy.
I'm having trouble imagining the baby Causing a Scene with thundering drums and aggressive guitars, or however they said it in the review.

Songs change.

I'm pretty glad Damien Rice changed Volcano:

Quote:
What I am to you, is not real.

What I am to you, you do not need.

What I am to you, is not what you mean to me.

You give me miles and miles of mountains and I'll $#@! them with the seas

Indeed.

It works, and it works well. Oh yes.

I've never really been a huge fan of Causing A Scene. I think I've only listened to it twice, actually. But of course, I'm talking demo, not album version.

I haven't listened to the baby yet, but believe me, I've been tempted to... I guess that was just to preface my ignorance on Causing a Scene/A Sight to Behold. Anyways, Boyd said something in his last comment in his recent update that the record was reaching back "even to Moss Eisley" with it's rock roots... Does this song have that old works feel to it 'cause it's described as having aggressive guitars?

This goes out to anyone who's heard the album-- you can be as generic in response as you want to be... I just want to know because the old works EP is one of my favorites.

If you'd only heard "Causing a Scene" ... you couldn't really say that.

Uhm ... uh ... I'm not really sure how much I can say about the actual sound and production. I am deeply satisfied by it. And as it has been stated elsewhere, you can definitely hear guitars on this album. And the booming drums have been mentioned plenty. Those were astute observations.
