I was watching a trailer for the invasion and I heard this quote, "Something's happening. I don't know what it is, but I can feel it" something's not right, i can feel it inside and so I instantly thought of the song. As it was playing in my head it kind of, almost went with the trailer. I decided to redo the trailer and throw Invasion in there just to see what it might have looked like. I'm not saying this is good by any means (I didn't edit the video. I just threw the song in (I cut the song here and there)). I just wanted to see if/how this song could have fit. I like how to goes (towards the end), but I can see why they passed on it. It still would have been great for them to get that exposure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6njPH5XGlTc |

Great job! I think it fits perfectly... I don't understand why they passed on it. _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. I know it may not show on the color of my skin, but I know it’s in my heart and in my soul. –Sara Quin |

If you guys think that Eisley passed on it thats not the story. Here you go. boyd wrote: They tried... pushed it, walked it right in... they were super psyched about
the opportunity; they even talked to the director... I understand they like the song but just don't feel it works for the movie. tsk tsk... at least Craig and WBR team tried. i wasn't bummed... not sure why. I guess Eisley's "Invasion" will either have to have a radio life of it's own without the help of a blockbuster movie... or if it has no radio life... then... we'll find life somewhere else. Hey, i could make the album art look just like their poster; that way, we could trick millions of the fans of the movie into thinking this is the sound track!! yes!! We'll get even somehow. jk. _________________ |

by "they passed" we meant WB. Thanks for clearing up and posting the story though. I know Eisley would have jumped on full force if WB decided to go with the song. |

Unless the movie is a "bomb," then they might have to be thankful. (though, I saw the first tv preview last night and it looks like it would fit nicely...Kinda like how oliez put it together!) |

Obviously the lyrics work pretty good, the song itself just doesn't fit as well but I still wish they would have used it. |

Since the lyrics fit so well, I wish they would have done like...a "movie version" of the song. A remix of it or something just so that the music would fit the movie's mood better. _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

It fits nicely at some points and not so well at others. But I wish it could have been included somehow...as a credit song perhaps. Or just clips of the song faded into the background at various points in the film. Still, Eisley doesn't need some movie (however good it looks) to make them awesome. _________________ To Write Love On Her Arms the world is poor because her fortune is buried in the sky and all her treasure maps are of the earth. |

Was the movie based on the same book (Invasion of the Body Snatchers)? There's a line in the trailer that sounds like it came right out of the book. "My husband is not my husband." And that's the basic start of the book. _________________ The name's Jacqui. |
