So Wednesday night, Boone decided to delight me in the description of his dinner consisting of chicken marinated in barbecue sauce...with salsa. As I was feeling quite sick at the idea, I became curious to know what everyone's consensus is.

It doesn't sound very appealing, but I'll try anything once.

I don't see how it could be disgusting. Barbeque sauce has quite a few tomato elements in it from my recollection (I've only ever made myself cherry barbeque sauce), so it should blend well with salsa. It'd kind of be the same as adding the dried spices that emanate spicy salsa flavor to the barbeque sauce...which is not an uncommon practice if you like your sauce inexplicably awesome.

So basically, that sounds like a delicious meal minus the chicken.

Well, by that, I meant that I basically have been having that same meal. I toss some seitan onto a plate, microwave it, and eat it with ketchup and salsa.

And sometimes I treat myself to an oversized organic pickle.

I think it would depend a lot on the ratio as to whether or not I'd even consider it.

Nope! Its just not going to happen! If it tasted good, then someone would have mixed it and called it their own and then sold it.

It was a light coating of chipotle barbecue sauce and fresh salsa, on a quesadilla with pepperjack cheese. It was amazing.
