One quick note before anything else goes up. Be careful what you eat before going to a show. A bout of abdominalpains/fainting can almost ruin a night you've been waiting for. Okay, that aside, I must say Eisley in acoustic is very relaxing, and for me much more enjoyable (no need for earplugs to save your eardrums). I began in The Social's little "pit" 2nd row from the stage during Wesley Jensen & Christie:
Touring with Wesley was a good idea, his set went well with the type of music Eisley is. Christie has a great voice, but I already knew that. Then due to circumstances beyond my control, I was pushed back to the bar, where I had to take a seat. Unfortunately, the view was terrible and there were these two intoxicated guys sharing a conversation about one guy knowing the other? Whatever, they were being so loud it was interfering with Sherri's in-between talks. Infuriated me tried moving a little, and then finally to the side of the stage where Boyd was taking shots:
My apologies to Boyd for flashing him square in the face. Weston was coming off the stage after a song and I managed to get a high five as he passed. All in all, and like always, Eisley puts on another great show.

What a great show! I've been waiting for them to come to FL....this was my first time seeing them. I brought my wife along (okay dragged, she *was* not a fan), but I think she is now! I hated the venue...wall to wall people, we were sitting at the bar (at least we were lucky to have a seat), but people just walking back and forth, bumping into you. The sound was great, although a bit overdriven towards the latter part of the show...I think the sound guy was trying to drown out the night-club drumming in the background. I felt bad for them...that can really screw your timing up, but they forged on and put on an excellent show! What I did like about the small venue was they were able to talk and joke around between numbers and connect with the crowd a bit. Guys, if you really want to see a real Florida Aligator, just let me know and I'll have my brother take us out on his airboat...I'm sure we can find a *live* armadillo as well...lol...well not on the boat ride, but...nevermind, I'll shut up now. Great show! |

Yea i thought it was pretty great that they answered my question about The Office. I think i make bands awkward when i ask that. It's not the first time i've done it. It's kind of like breaking a wall for most of them like "What they asked me a question?!?!" But Eisley handled it well plus they watch the office witch put them up about 100% in my book. |
