they were spelling her name Staci
and
I think we talked about this exact topic not too long ago and not too long before that and so on. I'm just saying that the Stacy/Sherri vocal comparisons need to have a go to place to have an answer.

I haven't been on here in a while. I probably should have searched it before I made a whole new thread. I was just thinking about the new album, and how some people were calling some songs 'Stacy's songs' or 'Sherri's songs' when both the girls are singing on them. Unless of course they were referring to who wrote it... Which is probable.

Sorry. I don't mean to attack you, but this question does get asked a lot and I think there should be a place to go to get questions like this answered.

No offense taken. I didn't take it as you 'attacking' me, I understand. Laughing

After I saw them live, now I can tell the difference.

I can tell them apart. Not always, but generally Stacy sings in a lower key and Sherri sings higher. I think that just after listening to them for a long time you will hear the differences.

Well, they're usually singing in the same key in songs together (otherwise it would be a little less pleasing to the ears), but Stacy does have a lower range than Sherri.

the first one is Stacy (I was attached...)
the second one is Sherri (there is no cure...)
the third is Sherri (but I don't care if I'm...)
and then the rest is Stacy.

i dunno, i've always been able to tell the difference between them. Stacy goes in and out of head voice so much it's really easy to tell when she's singing.

Don't feel bad, starter of thread ... I've been listening to Eisley for years and I still can't tell the difference most of the time. It's not completely obvious to me at all. *shrugs* Doesn't bother me all that much, though.

Stacy's voice is deeper, slightly lower, and smooth as a hot cocoa on a rainy cold night. Sherri's voice is a bit higher like a little bird or a butterfly soaring over Stacy's. Stacy kind of "cleans up" the bottom part of the range, I guess, and she does it lovily. I love Stacy's voice.
