I went to the late show, and it was great! It was also my first Eisley show. I got pictures which can be seen HERE if anyone wants to see. I have tons more from the night but I reached my limit for this month on flickr. Sherri sounds great on the records, but my golly she sounds ten times more fantastic live! I loved the little banter between them too. _________________ I lay in the grass and I lose your scent. |

I'm glad everyone that went really enjoyed it! I really thought about going, but I really really hate driving to New York and didn't feel like stressing myself out. I have tickets for the MuteMath show in OH, but I really really wanted to go to an acoustic show. Anyway... I'm glad it was goood, but sad I couldn't be there |

During the 11:30 show, Eisley announced that a guy from Rolling Stone is in the audience. Perhaps we'll have a review soon? This led into banter about RS's coined term "Unicorn Barbie Rock", and how they liked it, even though RS didn't really like them. Sherri brought it up again when relating a story about "Sea King" and to nevermind the lyrics. ("It's about a Mer-King. Mermaid King. Unircorn Barbie Rock, right? " ) It was the perfect encore. |

I'm thinking "Trolley Wood" with mass-crowd-clapping would've been a better, finale, but I'm biased. _________________ http://udrivel.blogspot.com |

YES! yes yes! i was thinking the same exact thing. its such a crowd song. like a big sing along would have been a perfect end. esp bc its an acoustic show. and you dont even need instruments! so itd be ok that weston and garron werent there _________________ creation is salvation |

I went to the 7 o'clock show...and the fans in question were only about 12 or 13 years old. I watched them run down the sidewalk; clearly they were in high spirits (perhaps too much sugar) and the young girl was with them. It seemed they had no intention of actually approaching Chauntelle (they only wanted to photograph her walking away) but the girl approached her first. Altogether a pretty amusing sight. Fantastic show, of course. I had no idea their voices sounded so heartfelt and powerful off the cd! Really, it blew the cds out of the water. _________________ Je ne peux t'aimer parce que tu as gentil... |

The Eisley show was definitely a bright moment sandwiched between two horrible travel experiences on Greyhound. I took a bus with my boyfriend from DC, ended up breaking down for 3 hours on the Jersey Turnpike. On the way home our bus that was supposed to leave at 1:30 am didn't leave until 3:45 am. I got all my pictures on my computer, but I am too tired to go through them all (all 450!) and decide which ones to put on my flickr. They'll be up tomorrow. Anyway, it was a really great show! _________________ car.o.lyn And I swear in that moment we were infinite BLOG l FLICKR |

Your pictures are great! I'm sorry your travel experiences were so lame. Make sure to tag them Eisley so everyone looks at them! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
