So has anyone here actually heard any of the songs that were "stolen"? I'm probably one of the only ones here that haven't I'm guessing. Not that I wouldn't want to though. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/keithabbott |

There was a similar issue with some tracks from the Innocence Mission that got leaked out. They were really old demos. But for historic reference they were really priceless. The band didn't particular like that they were made public, but they've come to accept it and have moved on. And I'd say good portion of them are truly amazing. I certainly couldn't see why they were cut from the album. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/keithabbott |

While gender-neutral language does awkwardify a lot of phrases, I still think it's important. It doesn't offend me, but that doesn't mean it's not a consideration when speaking or writing. keithabbott wrote: So has anyone here actually heard any of the songs that were "stolen"?

People have to go out of their way to get those tracks. Most don't care to make the effort. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

...I haven't heard any of the 'stolen'/'illegal' songs... I'm tempted to, but don't want to.... I'm just torn... But I think if the band thinks it's good then they'll probably release it... Someone mentioned an earlier version of Invasion, ICBTFY, and March King's Daughter are around? And two of them are released and the third is a giveaway... so maybe there's a chance that the others will eventually see the light of day? Please someone tell me I'm right. Please. _________________ - Heather ^^ |

Actually, I have both versions of Marsh King's Daughter. The demo version is slower and much more muffled, but it's still just as good. As well is Lady Get Away, but apparently there is no 'final release' of that. Which makes me quite sad, haha. _________________ Christina Mont. |

I downloaded a vid off of SYP called Malibu1b.mov. What is the song that is playing at the first as they arrive at the Malibu studio and plays in the background throughout the vid? It's got a metronome click track going with it. Is that Lady Get Away or Wings and Windows or what? _________________

(to last comment): that was just some little garage band Sherri song that i tossed in as for background flavor. It's called "Hummingbirds" and... I don't know what era or where it's from... I thought it leaked or something already. who knows. but it's nothing from this record. thanks. http://www.eisley.com/journals/trolleywood/_25565/pg2/#c |
