i used to work at gap and it seemed like old navy played the same stuff as gap but only more upbeat. i think at one time we were playing a maroon 5 song and old navy was playing like a weird maroon 5 dance mix or something. but yeah, each store is sent a cd each month that they have to play. some of it's pretty good, but some of it is not so good. it's pretty cool that they're playing eisley now though! |

*shrug* They're a clothing store that makes clothes for people of different ages, sex, race, and size. Why do they need to decide? _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Gap Inc stores are off of CDs now and have this auto player thing that does a concstant rotation of alot of songs. It is much better cause I rarely hear the same song twice during a 5 hour shift. _________________ "I ask none to live for me, nor do I live for any others. Well... Once I was shopping at the Gap (I recall looking at this amazing Oxford) and they began playing Sufjan. Chicago! No less. Anyway, the thing is, they added a $#@! techno beat to it. It was a trashy, fast paced, remix. I also recall suddenly becoming very angry. Also, I'm in need of new clothes. Gap will be visited on Friday. _________________ *Taking the month off ...* Jupiter Jazz My funny Valentine. |

I agree with whoever said that they need(ed) to decide who to market to. When they were making the transtion from more business causual to whatever they are now every single gap around where I used to live closed down due to the lack of business. But any store that jams some eisley is good by me. |
