I'm male and prefer a moderate use of make-up, so I didn't vote because it's not really fair to either camp.

hmm, i'm a girl who uses makeup, mostly because i look pretty bad if i don't. (screw those morons who say that you don't need makeup to be beautiful, apparently they've never had acne, lolololol)

there really aren't that many girls who go 100% au naturale all the time. there are some out there, but even with those who look the most low key, there's usually some mascara or eyeshadow or powder or something. it happens!
like everyone has said before me, makeup should enhance what you've got, not hide it.

as for me, i could do without most of it and likely will at some point, but it'll be a cold day in hell when i stop wearing mascara.

Makeup is a tool of the patriarchy to keep us down.

Or perhaps just a tool of cosmetic companies to make money by making us look worse. Ever see a thirty- or forty-year-old woman who has been using makeup all her life? Without it she looks like death warmed over, because no sun or air has been allowed to reach her skin all this time. And that just means she has to use more makeup to cover up her horrible skin.

I never wear any kind of makeup. Lip gloss makes me feel gunky and hideous, and don't even get me started on the horrors of mascara. Free and easy for me, thanks.

90% of days I wear no make-up. 10% I wear eyeliner just because I don't want people to mistake me for a corpse.

Though, I do enjoy crazy, ridiculous make-up for certain things, like costumes. But only for fun, not to look "hot" or for hiding your real face or whatever.

I use make up, but I don't depend on it. I pretty much always wear mascara but otherwise I just cover up my blemishes and then go. I don't mind going out make-up free though.

ABC needs to know this. I can see the caked on make up on the cast of Grey's Anatomy almost every week.

I'm a dude, I voted "au naturale" since that's the closest; I guess I'd say "minimalist makeup" is more accurate. I don't have a problem if you choose to wear more, as long as it's not excessive / gaudy, heh. Their self-security is one of the more important / attractive traits for me, so I guess as long as they have that, the makeup doesn't matter much either way.

The voting options reminded me of Creed on the Office:

"I like them au naturale, 'Swing low, sweet chariots'"

I can't vote because their needs to be an option of whether the person needs it or not.

If you are a natural beauty, then...don't wear much makeup if at all.
It you didn't get here with the best, then use make up when it helps. Smile

p.s. and to the ladies...if you like wearing makeup, don't listen to your guy that will always say, "oh honey...you're so pretty you don't need any makeup." Rolling Eyes Wink

I started to wear full makeup for a little while (concealer, eye makeup, lip stick/gloss) but I noticed the effect it had on my skin seeing as how 98% of the time, I only put on some burts bees on my lips and walk out the door. So now I do not wear full makeup. I wore the following on my wedding day, for example. Lip gloss, mascara.

...

thats it Very Happy

it makes my face feel weird when I wear makeup, I guess I'm just not used to it.

I would have checked "Little To No Makeup" if available. But settled on "No Makeup."
