Hey y'all. I ordered combinations from newburycomics for $8.95, and it arrived today, except it was the special edition one with the bonus dvd instead! Bargain! However, I'm in in the UK and before opening it I wanted to check if it'll work in a region 2 dvd player?? |

My family dvd player had a code on the internet and we only had to put it in once for it to work forever. Although, I prefer my cheap Asda DVD player as straight from the box it could play my Gilmore Girls boxsets from America...fancy doesn't always mean best. American DVDs do tend to work out....if you got the code. |

edit: the DVD, i mean… What a helpful and thoroughly considered answer! That DVD is as close as we're going to get right now to an Eisley concert DVD, so that redeems it for me. And nothing beats having a recording of Brighten and Simon Dawes onstage during "Trolley Wood". _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Clearly I have no choice but to defer to your expert opinion. I shall now break my Combinations DVD in half, run it over with my car, and never even think about the content of it again. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

The Troubadour footage itself is not good concert footage (flat sound, static cameras), but I consider it worth it to have a TV-quality version. And like I mentioned, "Trolley Wood" alone is worth the price of admission. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
