I personally disliked doing merch. I enjoy tour managing (it is much harder than doing merch but it is something that I prefer).... however I haven't toured with any big bands so thats probably why. Laughing

This is about all I know about it:

I know some bands have companies make their merchandise and manage it, so you could research or look into the companies. Some merch people are just friends with the band...Wouldn't we all want that? Smile Also, sometimes at huge events with lots of bands like festivals, the merch booths need volunteers. I worked at a booth a few years ago for a band because they needed volunteers. I got paid in merchandise. It was pretty cool.

I guess I would just say to ask around. Confused

oh and also, in reference to the bear pictures, this would be my personal favorite:

the caption "i remember that waterfall, i was just watching the fish swim by"
or something similar. Very Happy
