are you sure you got that quote right? cuz it makes no sence. yer blues is on the white album.
unless you are thinking about I want you (she's so heavy).

otherwise why would he say he hates one song on one album but then randomly picks another song from a different album?

But his reasons seems to do more with the manner in which they were recorded, MSH being one of Paul's exhaustive take-after-take sessions and YB being a live "one-take" sorta deal.

He attaches a negative memory with the recording of the MSH, so he hates it.

others have said that paul and john did some of the drumming on the studio tracks because it was too hard for ringo.

but i think he was great on let it be. if you watch the movie you can see him drum. he does a great job

(i'm trying to answer 3 posts so bare with me)

ringo walked out on The White Album and Paul drummed on a couple tracks, i think the first two actualul - USSR and Prudence.
-------------------------
i forgot about Cocker's cover that was the Wonder Years theme - that IS very good, though i don't think i've ever heard the full version.
-------------------------
i said SIDE 2, nothing about Golden Slumbers, whenever one track ends and goes into the next, i'm guessing that's side two, i don't have the record, but i know they wouldn't split them apart on the sides, that would make no sense and defeat the whole purpose.
(time passes)
ok, after looking on wiki i think i see what you're saying Here Comes doesn't flow into the other tracks, but when someone refers to "side 2 of Abbey Road" they mean where the tracks form a suite or medley of sorts.

Wink

Rolling Eyes No I did not.

is the ATU soundtrack made up of Beatles covers?
i've yet to hear a Beatles cover that improved on the original.

Let me email you Belarus's cover of Here, There, And Everywhere. It is far superior to the original.

My favorite album has always been and will always be Revolver.

Definitley Abbey Road. It was the first Beatles' album I ever listened to, and it's been my favorite ever since.

this is impossible to choose. honestly, i only have favorites not one favorite, which is sgt. pepper. the white album, and abbey road. (probably in that order, though it really is a tie between the white album and sgt. pepper) but damn i love all of the albums, except for beatles for sale, and help! (i don't love those two, but i do like them...for the most part.)

but i picked sgt. pepper, cos thats the album that really hooked me into them, and to me signifies the change of the beatles.

Rubber Soul! My favorite, because it was their last purely Rock album! With Revolver came Tomorrow Never Knows, which ushered in all the late Beatles stuff, which was, don't get me wrong, brilliant, but just not Rock and Roll!! Smile
