All right, I finally did it and moved here to Chuckleville, which is a smaller suburb of this fine community. I had to do it because I got so mad when I just now learned that Eisley were on Fuse last month and I missed the whole thing because I had no clue about it. Joining the board instead of haphazardly lurking may be the answer to keeping on top of things better, as I've learned you people pretty much know what color socks they're going to wear depending on the day of the week.

I'm older than 98% of the people here - the midpoint between Chauntelle and Boyd is about where I fit on the timeline. But I don't care, I just love good music and Eisley's sounds radiate from another time and space that I enjoy visiting frequently. They fill a dreampop void left since The Sundays hung it up a decade ago (and if you're wondering who The Sundays were, now's a perfect chance to give you something to explore while waiting for the next Eisley project!) Don't be frightened by my presence. Better than me lurking about, isn't it?

I will be trolling - or perhaps trolleying - about to see if any adult among this crowd will catch them in Iowa, I nearly fell on the floor when I found they are coming here in 2 months. And anyone who can fix me up with a DVD (or VHS, can't be picky) of their Fuse performance will have my eternal gratitude! Have lots to trade by many lesser bands. Anyway, there it is. Niceta meetcha.

Trolling the forum? You'll get banned for that! But, I might be going to the Iowa show with my dad. Jamie might be there too. Jamie is almost 27 so he's an adult. I am legally by law...

I meant trolling in a completely un-phishy kind of way - bad choice of words!

Current listing has them playing at Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines which is a small place but kind of a neat venue, has an Eisleyish vibe about it. But they could play in a renovated septic tank and I wouldn't care (although they probably would!)

I've been to the Mews before, and I thought it was pretty good. I'm going to try to make it to that show, as I'll be in Minneapolis that week.

Hello, all!

I'm not really in the mood for giving anyone my boring life story right now(I just found out that I definitely can't go to the Boston show because I'm only 16), but I'm definitely excited to become a member of this fine, Eisley-loving community.

Eisley's been my favorite band in the universe for about a year now, and I've been spreading the word like a wild fire in a dehydrated forest of doom. I've gotten plenty of people hooked on Eisley's fantastic tunes, including my best friend in the entire world. Although my love for Eisley can never be put into words, I'll attempt some sort of explanation. Let's just say that my favorite band of 6 years (I have 186 songs by them on my beautiful iPod, Melethron) was replaced immediately when I heard just a few songs from Room Noises. In fact, I'm so in love with Eisley that I'm currently working on a rather large portrait of Sherri which was inspired by one of the gorgeous pictures on her Flickr page (I looked through all of the photos at least three times Wink ).

I promise I'm not a stalker. Laughing I'm just a music fan who knows a great band when she hears one.

Um, hi. I'm just posting because I'm new, and I want to see what happens. Also, looking forward to the show in Philly on April 25th. Heck yeah I am. Just bought my tickets. Looking forward to it. Sentence fragments. Just phrases.
So, I guess that's all I wanted to say. Oh, and I don't think this spellcheck thing works. It kept trying to tell me that "I'm" is wrong and that I should replace it with "Iamb." Someone should fix that.

Welcome! Feel free to jump right in. I've seen Eisley in Philly twice, and they were both very enjoyable shows. Yeah, and the spell check on this forum is rubbish, I think ...

So...Antrider...I assume you have some omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience on this site...otherwise I would not have gotten a response so fast. I feel that you leave many questions unanswered: Who is this Antrider in real life? Is he really a protocol droid? Does he speak Bachi, if that is how it's spelled...you know what I'm talking about ("Doesn't look like we have a choice, but I'll remind him")? Why was Danny Donkey angry at the world? Who in the blazes is WhiteWire? Why are they all over the Eisley forum? Who's Kylee? Doesn't having the sun come out of your rear end hurt? Is that street talk for diarrhea, or something? So many questions left unanswered. It's frustrating really. I may quit this community. We'll see.
