I've been to two or three shows at the Avalon. It's my least favorite venue in Utah. I don't want to be too negative...but... *stops complaining* Luckily, I am still excited about the show. _________________

Are you allowed to swim in the Salt Lake? Because if you are, I might just go to the show there. Oh, and isn't that where the Spiral Jetty thing is? I am SO there. actually, I'm not going to the show there...but I do like Salt Lake City, I went there when I was a kid, and it was a pretty sweet little place. |

Actually, I'd like to see a mid-sized venue with the sound of the E-Center. There is a new venue that holds about 800 +, but I haven't been, so I don't know what it's like at all. I liked the Avalon before they redid the stage. It's kind of an odd set up with the benches, but not horrible. They have what looks like a good lighting set up, but not sure I've liked how they've used it most of the time. Kilby Court has really great sound now since they upgraded recently (It's just really small.) Now, if the other venues would just follow suit it would be fun. We do need some really good mid-sized venues. |

It's probably kind of cold though. But it's kind of cool cause when you get out deep enough you just float from all the salt. And yes, spiral jetty's there. woman4life wrote: Actually, I'd like to see a mid-sized venue with the sound of the E-Center. I even have a floorplan drawn out lol. It might be a while but nonetheless it's gonna happen. Or maybe I'll marry rich. Hey I can dream. p.s. what's the new venue? and where? |

I'll look it up when I get home tonight and post the info. Let me know when you get that venue built. I want to be a promoter and bring in all the acts I love. LOL Now, if we both just won PCH? LOL This is the venue I was thinking of. http://www.theouterrimslc.com/index.php |
