Not that I think all ska music is terrible... OK Computer would be my definite choice. Simply because it was such major transitory project. And a great one at that. It has elements of all of their work. And just in case this isn't hypothetical, you should then move on to The Bends, Kid A/Amnesiac, then Hail to the Thief. O yeah, and Pablo Honey Paranoid Android _________________ Okay!!!!.....I mean Sooo Good!!! Xanga's Worst Enemy MySpace |

As I always say, the ideal situation would be to show them one album at a time in chronological order, spending at least a couple of days on each to get a feel for them. However, like Jay said, The Bends would probably be the most beginner-friendly/easy-to-digest. ***1000th post (sickening... |

It has to be the near perfect "The bends" IMHO 'The Bends' is the only Radiohead album we don't have. Based on your opinion, I am adding it to my wishlist. _________________ "Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you." - C. G. Jung |

it really depends on what their into, i started w/ kid a, cause i was a fan of sigur ros, so it was perfect, for ur ska (pukes) friend, i would say the bends, its alot more approachable than OK computer, personally i would say bends, then OK computer, then HTTT(cause it is halfway ebtween OKC and kid a) and then move onto kid a and amnesiac at once, and consider them one album, rather than i great one(kid a), and one not AS great one(amnesiac) -ben PS just my opinion, take it as you wish... _________________

Ok Computer holds on to the best of the past and turns the corner on greatness...even to the critics; It's also a beautiful foreshadow to subsequent digital bliss. You can't go wrong with the record.
