My boyfriend and I will be driving over 3 hours to go see Eisley..and my boyfriend doesn't like them nearly as much as I do, so he is being very nice. Glad to hear you are coming to the concert - the drive will definitely be worth it! After seeing Eisley's awesome live performance, maybe your boyfriend will be as big a fan as you _________________ Michigan Eisley Fan Results of confidence building talk from Sherri: http://www.myspace.com/shereenmichellee |

It looks like everyone from Ohio who was going to make a long trip to Detroit or Pittsburg can go to the Cleveland show now. We're in the Toledo area on the Ohio/Michigan border, so Detroit is still the closest for us and we ordered our tickets as soon as they were availabe on line. Now our only decision is whether or not we should go to the Cleveland concert, too. That would be over a 2 hour drive, and two concerts in two nights. I'm guessing my wife (who controls the finances) will say nay. And daughter Samantha probably can't take two late nights with "concert- lag" at school 2 days straight. A third grader has to get some sleep I guess... Does anybody know if The Shelter has sold out yet? Just curious, since I know it only holds 226. Also, another post was wondering if the Eisley clan would be signing at all... anybody know anything from the concerts so far? Someone else mentioned they often watch the opening bands from the back of the room, and are more than happy to talk to fans and sign autographs. I know Samantha would be on cloud nine if she could meet the girls and get something signed and maybe get a photo with them! We are totally "pumpinated" (as Sherri would say..) that the Detroit show is three weeks from today! Can't wait to see our first live Eisley show _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

It hasn't sold out, I just bought my tickets My boyfriend and I will be there again...we were there for the Detroit accoustic show too. It will be delicious, and we plan on showing up early and fighting our way to the front. I cannot wait! I hope to see you all there Dan...we're from Toledo too, and my father is flipping out about 75 being messy, but I haven't heard any problems, have you? and omg if I see/meet/talk to any of the members I will probably die. I look up to these girls. _________________ and while your head is spinning hold tight it's just beginning |

I know that there is a short section of I-75 totally closed for repairs for the rest of the summer (but only about one or two miles). Somewhere on the south side of Detroit near downtown. I saw the info in the Toledo Blade last month and on-line somewhere... There is supposed to be a well marked detour that runs parallel on a major surface street, that will take you to the next open I-75 interchange. I'll have to look online and see if I can can find a map. I'll have to get maps to The Shelter anyway. I've only been to Detroit a few times and have no idea where The Shelter is! Maybe someone from Detroit can clue us in on the best way to get there? -Dan _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

I guess the SHELTER is a very small venue (226 ?), I'm guessing they may be pretty layed back about cameras.. sure hope so! Someone could always check with Boyd ahead of time, or call the venue to find out. Directions ?: We'll be coming north from Toledo on I-75 to get there. and I know there is a section of the highway closed for construction somewhere in that area. I did a Mapquest for the venue so I know where E. Congress Street is , but does anyone local know how to get from I-75 to the downtown/ E. Congress St. area? Detours, which exits to take, surface streets, ways to bypass rush hour traffic, etc.? Any help would be greatly appreciated! _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |
