1. SHOW TONIGHT AT THE GYPSY TEA ROOM - Dallas Observer Award Show. 2. We did a little photoshoot last night of the band because Rolling Stone wants to do another article....(!@#$!%?)...about 100 or so words, nice size photo on their Random Notes section usually featuring about 4-5 bands. That's pretty cool. 3. I didn't say there were three....I specifically said 2. 4. Now more about me...because... "THIS............... is my Xanga..." Well, I crashed at 4:45am on the couch in the den after shoot and working on getting the free CD packaging finished and uploaded to label....and a new promo-sticker...and a bunch of other stuff. at 8:00, my friend Jay Simmons knocked on the door for our scheduled coffee hang/out time. (used to work with him back when I was with the agency a few weeks ago) We miss each other, so....we have to make time, right? ok. enough about me. what else do you want to know about me? I want like a drum roll or something that builds up to.....(crecendo..) "THIS...(long pause)....(and with the voice of the guy who played the villan on The Wrath of Kahn and did car commercials for Volare' in the 70's and played on Fantasy Island)....is my Xang-ahhh....".(long residual h sound) I promise I scare me. See you tonight. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I wish I was Jay, cause then I could have sat on your couch and listened intently while you blathered on about yourself, and drank finely brewed coffee, and stare deeply into those bloodshot eyes to weedle out all the eisley secrets. Then I could have gotten on this forum to expose all the details. But alas, I'm not, at least I don't think I am. I feel more akin to the evil squirrel, in that other thread. Wait---I am! _________________ So there I go, Without my no. Only a yes And passive aggressiveness. |

He quotes Captain Ahab in Moby Dick...something like "From hell's heart I stab at thee...with my last breath I spit at thee Captain Kirk!" My Xang-ahhhhh!!! HA HA HA HA!!! Oh that hurts. _________________ "Love is all you need." -John Lennon "Love is all you've got." -My brother Bill My Xangaaaaa...(Ricardo Mantaban) http://www.xanga.com/Danelectro |
