I think LC members shouldn't post something "negative" opinions about Eisley shows on the forums because those people who haven't seen Eisley live yet (especially fans from "other" countries) would feel lack of interest in watching them live anymore (future performances). I mean like me, you know, I'm dying to watch Eisley live in their shows and a few months from now, I'm getting ready to go to the US.

I know America has too much democracy about opinions but please be considerate with the other members here from different countries. What's the point of private messaging? Rolling Eyes

I don't know if I'd go that far.

He can say what he wants to about the band here, but just saying it to say it with no reason doesn't make any sense and deserves the response the original post has received.

Sorry if I didn't come here to post a picture of my cat or discuss the new Harry Potter book.

I saw the show on April 30th in Cleveland. It was under marketed and poorly attended and it was amazing!!!!!

I think the stuff about sound, Sherri, etc is to be taken in the context of the individual's opinion. I don't agree, but that doesn't make it invalid.

I can't wait for the next album and as I've said before, I can't wait to see them at Quicken Loans arena with 16,000 of my best friends.

Oh yeah...my name is Jason. I'm 36 years old, married with two little daughters. I'm a big fan of Eisley. Not only for their music, but for what they represent about family, passion, hard work and simply being nice people. There's my intro...nice to meet all of you.

Dear Kimbertones,

If that is your personal idea of the high and mighty path to operate on, then I respect that; whatever works for you. And of course I would imagine that in the eyes of a mother, I’m just this arrogant attacker. But actually, that wasn’t really what I was going for. I’m not just here to “blast” my opinions. I’m not exactly here either to engage in friendly conversations. Again, I posted to take in what others thought of past performances. It’s always helpful to compare different thoughts, too. And FYI I don’t think I’m the kind of person who wants everyone to believe in the “negative” things I shared. Again, again, I posted for an open-minded discussion, not a shove-down-your-throat-imposing-ideas kind of discussion.

I find it impossible to fulfill yours or anyone’s request of hearing only whatever you/they want to hear. And I have no intention of making the band whatever you think I would like them to be. As I stated in a recent reply to Caley, Eisley can do whatever they want, and they should. I sure as heck don’t expect Eisley to change based on my opinions.

You're obviously an opinionated person. I'm right there along with you in that regard, but I also see where Kim is coming from and I can respect both points of view. I think if you had posted this on a yahoo! group of some sort, or as a blog you might get a more variety of responses. But this is Eisley country you're treading on, and in here the band is highly regarded even when they may or may not slip up. Most of us are highly biased in the positive light when it comes to viewing this band. So I'm not sure how much more you'll get from this thread, especially if you're looking for someone that may share your opinions. But at least you're a fan, and Eisley should at least be happy that you're willing to stick with them and support their music, despite your latest misgivings.

The sad truth is the more popular they become the more likely they are to stir it up even more.

Fortunately, it's only been about 3 people, but look how much sh*z they stirred up. Confused

I had to miss this tour because someone very close and dear to me had to have surgery, and needed a hand (and a few extra dollars) while recuperating. What I would have given to be able to see a crappy-sounding, poorly-attended Eisley show. What I would have given!

Next time, if you get tickets and have your doubts, just send them to me, maybe?

I saw them the day after the LA show at the san diego show and they were awesome. I met someone who had been to the LA show at loserkids beforehand and she said that it was amazing, the best performance of eisley's she had seen and that she had seen them 4 times.

Wow there sure has been a lot more hostility in the forum lately Confused I think Eisley is doing a wonderful job performing that i just dont see why people are so quick to judge based on one performance that they dislike. I believe a TRUE Eisley fan would stick with them even if they were the worst band out there (of course they are not) but just to show how committed we are! Very Happy Keep up the good work guys....oh and plz play in TYLER again! Laughing

If you say that you did not have unfriendly motives behind your post, then, I will take you at your word. I have not met you in person, so there is no way for me to know your personality, or style.
My point was, it "felt" arrogant to bring such negativity in on a first time post. Feelings, and perceptions, especially on the internet, can be completely wrong. So if I have misjudged you, I apologize.
Again, I hope you make friends here, and enjoy the world of Laughing City.

Kimbertones: Although I have been completely misunderstood by most loyal Eisley fans and yourself throughout this whole thread, I as well apologize for coming off as a mixer-upper. As their mother/aunt it’s natural for you to defend them and support them with all your heart. I know that all the fans share and express undying love to the band and would feel offended from some negative comments, because that’s not what the majority of Laughing City is used to or consists of.
So thanks a lot, Kimbrtones, for somewhat cutting me some slack so far and for the warm welcome to LC.

As long as we all express our sides maturely and without bitter feelings, I will have gotten what I hoped for (in the first place) out of this thread.

P.S Didn’t mean to be one of those people to stir up “sh*z”, but hey it happens, intentionally or not. In my case, it’s the latter, believe it or not.
