Do you not realize that those are all of their cd's or are you making a point?

Actually you forgot about Tip Of The Iceberg ep and the Its All About the Girls ep.....

I took that one into consideration, but it is more of a partial album-due to it being an EP, so I didn't bother to put it on the list. Still, very good/observant of you haha

I only liked that song that Sherri sang on... and then, I only liked the parts that she sang.

i seem to remember around the time MTV was playing the Franz Ferdinand Take Me Out video and Modest Mouse's big song that there was a NFG video that was also getting heavy rotation.
what would this be?

I believe that was "It's All Downhill From Here."

It was an awful, awful song with a weird animated music video.

by animated, do you mean computer animated?
i can see a band playing on this computer animated 3-D plane i guess.

how prevelant are the DuPrees cameos?
is it just a little harmony you can barely tell or singing verses, etc?

Yup, really weird animation thought, like I said.

And I can't answer the DuPree questions, as I haven't gone out of my way to listen to the band in 6 or 7 years.

Edit: After doing some research, I was dismayed to find out that NFG re-recorded Hit Or Miss and made it much, much worse.

if "the point" you're talking about is that I don't really like anything they do, then yes. Point made.

"Too bad it can't stay like that all the time......Nothing Gold Can Stay"

Such a priceless intro to that song/album. Sadly when they signed with Drive-thru they had to get rid of all the clips on the Drive-thru pressings, but they left the clips on the NGCS vinyl.

Why is it that people here only seem to listen/like them, soley, because of Sherri? Does nobody have their own minds? I'm not trying to be mean or anything...it just seems silly....I've done that before too, so I am also silly....but still......

It's 'cause I'm (we're) interested in hearing what she or the other members have done outside of Eisley. Rolling Eyes

There's that. Also, I don't care for the singer's voice in most instances. With the four DuPree girls in the background too, however, it tends to become at least a little better.

you're at an Eisley messageboard and Sherri is a member of Eisley...
boomshakalaka

just kidding. Laughing

i saw the video and wasn't interested enough to investigate further, so it seemed an odd fit to have any DuPree sing on top of that. i was curious as to how it turned out - if the singing was prominent, one of many female singers so you're not really sure (think Bright Eyes involvement), or barely audible (think Jon Foreman EP).

Because they're a bad band, and there are plenty of Eisley fans (just like any other band) who worship the band and will do/listen to whatever they think would make the band members happy if they were friends.
