One thing that's different and great about Chauntelles voice is her sultry, bluesy accent- that uber-cool drawl/twang. The others are great- but Stacy could just as easily be from Connecticut (when singing, anyway), and Sheri's is at her best belting out that high intensity, soaring soprano that is kind of accent-neutral. Chauntelle sounds like she's From somewhere- much like Janis Joplin, Eadie Brickell, or Norah Jones. |

I'm pretty sure Chauntelle is writing her own. wow that excites me, i cant wait for the next album. Chauntelle has an amazing voice to match the other DuPree's, and if she had her own song that would work out great, it seems everyone else agrees that she has a narly voice. |

Glad to hear Chauntelle is writing songs and we hope that means she'll be doing a lot more singing as well Chauntelle has a beautiful voice! Boyd's new post is very exciting - we're all hoping some of the new Eisley music will include more of Chauntelle !! _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

I am so excited to see what she comes up with! I know it will be excellent. I think they all the DuPree darlings have different voices, when I first started listening I had a hard time differentiating Stacy's with Sherri's but now I can hear all the differences, and I have to say that they can do no wrong! Chauntelle's voice is steady and smooth, and then Christie always manages to surprise me, I must have listened to her new song on myspace 100 times so far. |

I had the same problem differentiating between the two. For the longest time, I couldn't tell the difference until I started watching videos of their live performances. Now that you bring it up, I need to listen to more of Christies stuff too. I've only heard her voice a few times, but I know I liked it. |

They can say a little when being talked to directly but not much that lasts long like on videos. Maybe the girls just told them to shut up and let them do the talking... _________________ Sherri is weird...(Weird: Wondrous Epiphanies Inspiring Reminiscent Daydreams)...A.K.A. Seien. I believe if Garron and Weston have something to say they will. Maybe most of the time they prefer not to speak in interviews and such. However, watching the recent videos, the whole band is talking. Bands have like one or two main people who answers questions. At least most of the time bands do. |

did anyone get the moss bus reference? i think that's what they called that school short bus they drove to gigs in for a while. actually i think it's the same one they make fun of in one of those new year's videos. if chauntelle suddenly got a huge interest in the sitar and wearing hemp clothing i'd flip out, man. _________________ I am Torgo.
