And I'm sorry I don't have her face And I'm probably gonna lose this race There is no doubt she's such a mouse With such an abstract grace I see desperate jealousy in this, maybe others would disagree but i really dig these lyrics, and the rest of Ten Cent Blues. Its something i think everyone can relate too. |

And I had tangles in my hair But you make me feel so pretty You have shining eyes Yes like those forest lights And it makes me want to cry I shall never grow up Make believe is much too fun. Ditto. I smile every time I hear that song, it makes me happy. I also love: I was just wishing you were here So we could walk down to the stream And we could throw all our leaves in Seeing our dragon when we look (Brightly Wound) and: Congratulations Cause we've made it All the way home All the way home And you know that Until the stars fall I will always love you I will always love you (Lost at Sea) _________________ Rachel ----------------------------------------- God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him. --Jim Elliot ------------------------------------------ I am only one, but still I am one. See how it dances from you to me to you This is my favorite part of Sunfeet and i like how Stacy plays the four ascending Rhodes notes at the part as well - almost like it represents the 'light dancing.' _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

"Dear did you know you're all I ask for? So hold on to me, hold on with me here" from just like we do such a sweet song, it never leaves me not smiling "Let's break the walls down And find how to live 'Cause you and I have So much to give" sight to behold i think the whole song is just amazing "And I marveled at the way your hair glows in the light. There's one who cares for me today. (repeat) I've watched you grow up child, you have made me proud. And I love the way your hand fits so nicely in mine. And I always screw up, I wonder how you sing to me." head against the sky this song...always always always a good listen, no matter what all the lyrics posted from Brightly Wound and Sunfeet are definitely my favorites, but i didn't want to pose them again - Brightly Wound is on the top of my eisley songs _________________ Saellys wrote: You misunderstood. I shall never groooow up, make believe is much too fun...can we go ahaway to the humming meadow I love a lot of the other lyrics posted so far. But this is one I don't think anyone has said yet and it's such a beautiful verse and you can hear they sing it with such intensity. _________________ Sherri is weird...(Weird: Wondrous Epiphanies Inspiring Reminiscent Daydreams)...A.K.A. "when you were young, you thought you were so ugly and you wouldn't attend the costume party, but you feel so tired, you feel so lonely, and you tried to dig your heart out of vanity" i especially liked the way stacy sings 'vanity' haha. "you'll never contemplate that i am near, and help goes unseen. you're the cave admitting whom you choose, and i could be there for you" so beautifully sung, by such an amazing person. "but if the moon shines on you while you're sleeping, it will show you all that you're feeling inside. you buckle it all down, and spread the feel of gladness around, and if i'm wondering, then you'll show me, if you're wondering, i know that if the moon shines on you while you're sleeping, it will show you all that i'm feeling. and i thought that i had all that, that i wanted. but boy, was i wrong as were you, now i know. if the moon shines on you while you're sleeping, it will show you all that i'm feeling and if i'm wondering, then you'll show me, if you're wondering i know." i just find all of that to be so achingly beautiful. *sighs* "dear did you know you're all i ask for, so hold on to me. hold on with me here. and there are things that follows quietly to the pass, we've seen all those faces we won't go looking for trouble the rain it tumbled down through the cracks in the sky, which made your hands grow, watch your hands grow" and finally, (but not really i could go on...) "mister, i don't believe in you mister, i don't believe in you with the way you're talking to me. oh, it's so soothing" i love that whole song, really. but those lines in particular, especially the way stacy sings 'mister' haha. _________________ I used to be Snow White but I drifted -Mae West |

A spot of brilliance, that. _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

Well, it gets so easy riding on your shadow. My ideas get lost amid your own. And oh, my love We could live on the sun And wouldn't we be attractive Riding in our shiny motor cars With eyeglasses full of stars And plenty of paper for scenery painting Soft sweet music makes me sleep Calling my mind away Butter warm clouds are dripping into my mouth Tasting of golden _________________ |
