It had Michelle Pfeiffer in the Cat Woman suit, that was ok. Ha, yeah. But I think that's my least favorite of all of them, interesting. Yes, I like it even less than Batman And Robin. haha. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Batman the animated series from the 90's had a cool style to it, though I didn't watch it much, it was impressive. There was a feature length movie that was released in theaters but I can't remember what it was called. I remember Siskel and Ebert were saying it was much better than one of the live action Batman movies out at the time. _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |

Yeah, they had some rather innovative animation for a TV show. Eye catching. Mark Hamill was the voice for the Joker on the series & movie, 1993's Batman: Mask of the Phantasm might be the one you're thinking of. OK Jamie, I'll give Batman Begins a fair trial one of these days. _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

dang, call me pumped First Movie Reviews: The Dark Knight 15 July 2008 10:38 AM, PDT The London Daily Mirror claimed today (Tuesday) that it was publishing the first major newspaper review of the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight. It's a rave. Critic David Edwards remarks that Heath Ledger is "a dead cert" to win the Oscar for his portrayal of The Joker. Edwards says that the late actor "is the brilliant heart of a superhero movie that's like nothing you've ever seen before. ... the finest superhero movie in years." In the U.S., Time Inc.'s Entertainment Weekly is out with a review by Owen Gleiberman that also extols Ledger's performance. "In this, the last performance he completed before his death, Ledger had a maniacal gusto inspired enough to suggest that he might have lived to be as audacious an actor as Marlon Brando, and maybe as great," he writes. Likewise Richard Corliss in Time magazine calls Ledger's performance "magnificent." His Joker, says Corliss, "is simply one of the most twisted and mesmerizing creeps in movie history." In his review for the Associated Press, Christy Lemire writes that The Dark Knight is "an epic that will leave you staggering from the theater, stunned by its scope and complexity." And Peter Travers concludes in Rolling Stone: "The haunting and visionary Dark Knight soars on the wings of untamed imagination." _________________ I am Torgo. Nice! Though I was waiting for something like "oh yeah, there's some stuff about Batman in this movie, too." ha ha. I think might go on a radio silence (to avoid spoilage) with the impending arrival of the midnight showing which I will show up for very early tomorrow. mmm .... Batman! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

You have NO idea how jealous I am that you're going to the midnight showing. My parents hate crowded theaters so they're like, eh, we'll wait a while. |

I'm pretty sure Jamie already has his ticket, he's just showing up early to ensure good seating for himself. As for my choice of best Batman movie, my vote will be cast after I get back from the midnight showing. Of the ones I've seen, the order that I like them: Batman Begins Batman ('89) Batman the Movie ('66) Batman Returns Batman Forever Batman & Robin _________________ |

Whichever one had the nipples on the Batsuit was my favorite. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

they're showing it at the drive in, though i've never been there. i've wondered how you deal with the heat. i guess you just put a towel on the seat and sweat it out! after you're drenched in sweat any breeze is sure to feel good. i'm also contemplating seeing it at an IMAX theater since it's the first major motion picture to be filmed with IMAX cameras. i believe they shot several of the action sequences that way. Sky Vue Drive In Theater Movie Mail Week of Friday, July 18th through the following Wednesday: (Closed Thursdays) The Dark Knight (PG-13) 8:45 The Dark Knight will play for two weeks. There will not be a second feature with this film due to the length of nearly 3 hours. Sky Vue Drive In Family Theater 10713 Hwy. 69 N. Tyler (Lindale-Swan), TX 75706 Located behind the old Tyler Trades Days Grounds. We do not play ‘R’ rated films. Prices are $6 + tax for adults, $4 + tax for kids under 12, and little ones under 5 are free. ===================== someone tell me: is the 66 Batman campy like the TV show or is it more noir like? _________________ I am Torgo.
