A couple years ago all the band members had Xanga pages with commenting ability. For various reasons, they deleted their Xangas and went quite a while without any public journal at all, and when they made the new official ones I figured the lack of a comment function was intentional. Every time a band member posts a new entry, someone starts a thread about it here in EisleyBlog, which I think is a better option. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I guess that does make sense It's been a while since I was active here, but since I first joined I've always wondered about that. Now I know, for sure. _________________ ~~texas surrounds you so gracefully~~ |

Yeah, the infrastructure to allow commenting is definitely there, since you can comment on all of Boyd's posts--they just deactivated it for the band's journals. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Interesting Idea! i wonder if that would be a bother for the members to risk allowing comments and having them go in all sorts of directions and then having to qualify their statements and such. Basically it could get messy for them. Life can be complicated enough as it is already. ha! _________________ TRUCK STOP SHOWER GIFT CERTIFICATES FOR EISLEY!!!! COME ON! |

During the first milliseconds when it hit my eyeball, it looked like a fairy going for a slam-dunk with a magic crystal ball. Fairies 74, Gnomes 22 - they have a height disadvantage, and moreover fairies can fly! At 8 am, I'd be lucky just to remember to remove the lens cap, and there she's snapping another wonderful whimsical world. _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

Then all I could think was how it looked like Sherri was playing basketball, with that glow from her hand. haha. _________________ I used to be Snow White but I drifted -Mae West |
