I'll admit I kind of like her. I find the show stupid but I still watch it if it's on and I like her music. I kind of like the JoBros too.

Oh my gosh, yes.

I'm holding out hope for Brenda Song, though--she actually seems to have talent and potential.

Shia is definitely the most talented to come out, but I have soft spots for Hilary Duff and Aly & AJ. Hilary actually got great reviews on one of her most recent movies.

They have also had other good talents within a few of their shows and movies, but they failed to gain further popularity (see: Margo Harshman, Adam Lamberg.)

Personally, I can't stand Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, but my daughter Samantha thinks she's OK. She went to a Hannah Montana concert in Cleveland back in Jan. with her BFF (another 3rd grade girl), and thought it was pretty cool. But then I took her to the EISLEY 'Combinations' concert in Detroit in May, and she thought EISLEY was WAAAAYYYY cooler! Very Happy So now Wink I know she has good taste in music...

( I do think Hillary Duff is a pretty good actress, though...)

i pray to god she really is as mature as she claims...and does not fall into whatever every other tween star does because twelve and thirteen year olds need good role models more now then ever.

Margo Harshman FTW!!!!

I have conversed with her over email a few times. She also sent an autographed pic. She is very nice!

Not a chance. Lindsay Lohan. Shia has absolutely no acting range.

Lindsay Lohan is (or was) very talented, but she isn't from Disney Channel, so she's disqualified. Razz But, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Shia is excellent in comedic and dramatic roles as far as I'm concerned.

Aah, I thought sebas was talking Disney in general. And see, I can't take Shia seriously when he's acting in dramatic roles. There's something about his performance that doesn't feel genuine. To me it always seems like he's joking.

Mmm... no miley/hannah for me. Yuck. I've watched one episode which was mildly entertaining... but the music... ahhhh!! Spare me!! And it gets stuck in your head if you hear it and you dont like the song but you cant get it out of your head!!!

I've only seen one episode and the banter between Miley and the brother was slightly amusing.

And that song she does with her Dad - ugh - thank you for mentioning that one, now it's stuck in my head! I want to shoot myself.
