"Happy Valentines Day (every day's the 14th...)” as quoted by Andre 2000 of Outcast. Kisses to Chauntelle, Sheri, Stacy, Weston, and Jonathan. Hugs for everyone on the board. And love for all y’all, weather I know you or not! (Today is the one day people get away with showing sloppy love and I’m gonna take full advantage of it. 'Cuz everybody deserves a little love, even the people that suck.) |

Saying Valentines day is fake (nobody said it really) is like saying every other holiday is fake....which, of course, they are in a way; and V day is totally forced; people get irritated with the whole notion of manufactured, commercial love; but think about it... These impending, over-branded, hyped up holidays make some sense. What's wrong with compacting all of one vibe...one thought...one celebration into focus on one single day of each year. Otherwise, we could all have a good excuse never to describe our love...or buy our sweethearts chocolate and cards and hearts and things to show them how amazing our love is. If you don't have a valentine, it could be sad. But no worries, you're day is coming. I have one but we're separated by 1000's of miles. That's sad too. moral to story: prove your love all year long and puntuate it on V-day. The goopier and sappier, the better. I agree with the original post. Happy Valentines day Kim...i wouldn't trade the kisses or the adventures spanning 25 years for anything. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. For me, I think its silly to prove your love on just one day. Do it year round. I know I would if i had a sweetheart *swollows bitterness*. Whenever im in a relationship, theres usually flowers or candy or somthing special every day. Valentines day sucks when you're alone cause everyone else is all extra lovey gooey and im just extra alone, lol. No VD for me please _________________ My tongues the only muscle in my body that works harder than my heart ~PrettyPalmReader a.k.a. i also relate to becwec. i remember bitter days. and, it's true... fake plastic hearts don't go very far. it's an outward sign at best; but over the years, I've had to learn the hard way that...without outward signs, there's no inward romance. You guys without anyone should start thinking of ways not to screw up when you do find the love of your life. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
