My husband and I actually don't celebrate Valentines Day. We even planned to have an anti-Valentines day party (before the plague struck our house and I've been sick ever since). I just like the excuse. Like I said, you can GET AWAY with the kind of affection I'd like to give all year long. Sorry about the incorrect information on Outcast. It was once Andre 2000, but I guess that was a while ago. |

I'm just not a big fan of the guilt trips that a lot of people are put through for Valentines Day, too many people out there only do special things on V-day and anniversaries and it's appalling. If today is a good excuse for anything, the excuse is to stay home and NOT goto restaurants. My bitterness might be related to getting dumped on Valentines Day, though, or the fact that I don't need an excuse to be romantic. _________________

I see where you guys are coming from with the hate for vday, I am alone this year but thats ok...plenty more vdays left... but really guys don't get so down and don't diss the day man... just put on some eisley and feel better 
Really do you guys know the story behind what vday is all about? well its for old man st valentine who was put do death first wiped then stoned then finally beheaded all because he was in love with a woman and wanted a Christian marriage which was wrong back in his day... ne who after he was dead his woman found a love letter he had written to her at the end of it, it was signed love your valentine so this day was made pretty much for him and all other Christians to celebrate their love and the fact that they can be together.
