Aw, that series is my biggest guilty pleasure. Definitely a good read.

Ha that's true. Maybe they draw straws, or put it on the chore wheel - Wash Dishes, Take Out Trash, Snuff LC Flame War. Laughing

(I don't know anything about those books but I'm bemused that her one little journal mention generated an 11-page topic.)

I don't like anything with vampires...it's always overdone and crazy stuff. I don't know what the buzz is about the show, but I never liked what little bit of promo I've seen.

Go Sherri! Twilight is awesome. Even if it's really cliche and lame and whatever other insults anyone throws at it. xD

awesome ≠ cliché and lame

I have nothing to add to this thread accept for by chance I read this post and found it funny. Very funny, and true. I know I'd calm a forum flame war rather than take out the garbage anyday. Laughing

However...

cliché and lame + other insults anyone throws at it = awesome?

Thank you Sherri for mentioning/praising Twilight.

If I hadn't read your post (a while back) on Trolleywood, I wouldn't have read the series.

Which I just finished....all four in under a month. So good. And I didn't think I would like them...thanks!

Very Happy

The series is good.
You just can not look at it as somthing other then a Teenager Female romance book.

I hate how critics all try and compare it to great works of lititure. Thats not the point of the series.

*giggles*
I admit I like it.

The books were alright.

Before they turned into the new thing for all the 12 year old girls to follow. And a rather cheesy movie.

But that's just my opinion.

I actually thought the Movie was a brilliant adaptation.
Combined things to save time, and make it movie-ish.

The fact it was so slow in the begining, was the exact same as the book.
